Biography
Rober Williams, Welsh born son of James Williams, a merchant tailor of London & his wife, Alice] - Pembroke College, Cambridge graduate; arrived in Boston in 1630; founded the 1st Baptist Church in America; founded Rhode Island (1638) & was its first Governor.
